I made a small Unreal Engine plugin for anyone who spends too much time untangling Blueprint wires.
It’s called Blueprint Named Reroutes.
The very serious, highly academic design goal was:
Make pasta, NOT spaghetti 🍝
Basically, instead of dragging execution wires across half your graph like you’re wiring a suspicious basement, you can use a Send Flow node and one or more matching Receive Flow nodes with the same name.
It also supports passing data, so it’s not only for execution flow.
I originally made it for myself because Blueprint functions can become obnoxious real fast, especially since you can’t use Custom Events inside them. Some dev friends tried it, liked it, and convinced me it was worth publishing.
I put it up for a very small price on FAB, but if you genuinely want to try it and money is a blocker, just ping me on Discord. Let's chat and see what we can do ❤️
I’d also be curious to hear what other Blueprint-heavy devs think about this kind of workflow. If you have any suggestions or requests, lemme know.
