My son started wearing glasses last year, from Oct 2025 to now his prescription changed from -1.0, 0.75, 90 to -2.0, -0.25, 90. I am seeing an eye Dr but I don't think he treats myopia, just does vision test and prescribes lenses. We are just trying out contact lenses, and my son is having issues putting them in (he can take them out). But, once he is able to do so, I would like to slow the progression of myopia for him, and I saw Ortho-K and MiSight-1 a day are options. I am not sure how bad his myopia is with these numbers, but I don't want it to keep getting worse, so I feel like we have to act now. Any tips on finding a good provider in Norther NJ?
