My grandma makes this sofrito that I’ve never written down anywhere. It lived entirely in her hands and her memory. The thought of losing it one day genuinely stresses me out.

It got me thinking - how many of us have this? A parent, grandparent, or relative who cooks something incredible but has never once measured anything or written it down?

Did you ever manage to capture it? Or did you lose It? How did you handle it? Genuinely curious because I feel like this is way more common than people talk about.
