I want to nominate myself to be a part of a uni committee, and voting is based on a one minute speech on why we want to join and why we are a good fit.
I'm usually not the most confident and extroverted speaker and I get nervous especially in front of a big crowd. I admire all the charismatic speakers that instantly get everyone interested and are able to be relatable or make really good jokes. Any tips on what to say and how I would get everyone's attention?
