Hi everyone- I joined a Series A startup about two months ago after working at a larger tech company, and I’m finding it challenging to get engineering candidate responses.
The hiring bar is high, and while I’m targeting and reaching out to strong, relevant candidates (around 100 outreaches/week), response rates have been quite low.
I’d really value advice from others who’ve recruited at Series A stage - what’s worked for you? Any tools, groups, practices, or sourcing strategies (beyond personalisation) that have helped build a strong pipeline?
Appreciate any insights - thank you!
