2017 GMC Acadia Limited Trouble Starting
Hi all!
So I’ve had my car for almost two years now, and this has only happened maybe twice before today but not nearly as bad. This morning I remote-started my car as we were running late and I wanted to give it a minute before driving off immediately as it was a bit chilly last night (gotta love Maine). Once we got out to the car one maybe two minutes after that, i hit the unlock button it didn’t work. I hit the lock button as well which had no effect, and I even tried to turn off the car remotely (it’s done that before) which there was also no response to. I manually unlocked my drivers side door to get in and manually unlock the passenger side as well. Then when I put the key in the ignition to turn my car on only my dashboard came on and there was no noise from the engine or car other than the dashboard dinging which it always does when i turn it on. My check engine light came on, as long as multiple “check ___” notices that i’ve never seen before. I had accepted defeat and didn’t know how I was going to get to work, and about a minute later in a last ditch attempt I tried it once more and it turned on just like normal. No check engine light on, no notices on the dashboard, nothing. Anyone know if I did something wrong or if there may just be something wrong with my car???
