A few years back when I was in college, I wrote a lot of my thoughts on a finsta (fake instagram account) that I shared with a few friends. I have 600 posts between 2017-2021, typically shorter posts than what I write in a journal now, with random photos or memes attached to the captions. (10-300 words per post).
I'd love to have a physical copy of this journal so it's easier to flip through than looking up my old account. Would it be insincere/false to print off the photos and handwrite the captions into a new notebook? I'd of course leave a disclaimer that the entries are from 2017-2021 and are not current. Is it typically frowned upon to transfer past diary entries into another format for archive purposes? The writing is more important although sometimes the images added context (screenshot of email or text message).
