Overwhelmed and at a loss!

We are getting married at the end of October this year - when the six month mark passed we thought ok, we best get planning the honeymoon, surely that’s one of the funnest things to plan…

A few weeks later and we are at a complete loss - we do not know where to go and keep changing our minds. It seems end-of-October / November is not a great time of year to travel.

Looking for advice on where to go or is it best to do a smaller, more local trip and save the honeymoon for a better time of year?

For context, we are based in Ireland / UK so can travel from either. We would do a layover somewhere and are not adverse to longer travel but I draw the line at more than 1 layover.

Trips we have previously done:
- Korea and Japan (we absolutely loved the food and culture of both and would be looking for something similar, but with a bit more relaxation)
- Hong Kong - we have spent some time in Hong Kong both for work and leisure and it’s probably our favourite city, we are considering doing this again but our preference would be for somewhere completely new
- we are based in Europe so have done Germany, Portugal, Austria, and Spain together and will be doing Italy in the summer. We have also individually visited a lot of European countries.

Options we have already considered:
- Norway - this was our first choice and was looking great with a combination of Oslo, Bergen and Tromsø but the more we looked into the more we realised how tiring it would be moving from city to city (made us realise max two destinations unless travel was very straightforward (ie. No planes). We also realised to do Norway Honeymoon style would require a much larger budget than what we have.
- Thailand - this was our most recent choice and we were looking to do a combination of Bangkok and Islands. However, (i) the weather in Thailand at this time of year doesn’t seem ideal, and (ii) flight options to Thailand from Ireland / UK are surprisingly limited and so we were faced with the option of having to fly back a few days earlier than we would have liked or a few days later (and naturally, spend more money on accommodation and excursions)
- I have always wanted to go to Malaysia (was booked to go in 2020…) but is even more limited in travel options than Thailand.
- We have both always wanted to go to Singapore but not sure if there’s enough to do for 2/3 weeks. We looked to combine with Malaysia but again left with multiple flights throughout trip and we’d prefer to avoid
- Bali and the Maldives doesn’t really entice us
- We would love to do Canada but think time of year is against us again

I think we’re looking for some combination of city and relaxing.
Our budget is €8-10k.

Would appreciate any and all suggestions !
