Girls travel

Four young girls from Bulgaria looking for a 4-5 day beach city trip in September 22 for 3-4 days . Budget around €500 flight + hotel. Prefer direct flights, walkable city, nightlife, beach and good food. I had been to Bologna and Rimini. Considering Valencia, Palermo or Mallorca. Any recommendations?

Hi,

I’m going to Rimini solo from May 3–7 (flying from Sofia) and I’ve already booked a hotel near the marina area. I’ve been looking into nearby day trips and so far Bologna and Pesaro seem like the easiest options by train.

I’m traveling on a budget and planning to use only public transport (no taxis). I’m not really into museums or heavy sightseeing — I prefer walking around, nice views, local atmosphere, and more “everyday” places rather than major tourist attractions.

From what I’ve seen:

- Bologna looks interesting but maybe a bit too busy/touristy

- Pesaro seems more relaxed and coastal

So I wanted to ask:

- Between Bologna and Pesaro, which one would you pick for a day trip and why?

- Are there other nearby places (max ~1–1.5h) that fit this vibe better?

- Any specific areas in Rimini that are good for evening walks or going out solo?

Also, I’ll be there for my birthday — if anyone knows a good spot for a small cake/dessert, I’d appreciate it

Thanks!

Hello , i booked hotel at Rimini for my b-day. I will be here in the period from May 3 to 7.

I want to visit other cities near to my destination. My idea is to make the most of my time.

I prefer to saw hidden spots and some places without tourists. I like nature, sunrises and sunsets, museums too. If you have any suggestions, I would be happy to share them.

I also want to ask if it is a good idea to travel to a more distant destination, because of my short stay. Do you know any places where I can celebrate my birthday alone?

I mean somewhere where can I blow out the candles on my cake without worries.

Is Bologna a good idea for a day trip and is there anything to see in a limited amount of time?

Any suggestions for good nightlife , not trap tourists bars and discos ?

Where is the best place for lunch and dinner - traditional italian food ?

Hi! I’ll be in Rimini from May 3 to May 7 (solo traveler). I’m not really into museums or castles. I’m more interested in hidden spots, nature, local vibes and beautiful views. I’d love suggestions for nearby towns or places I can reach by bus or train (no car) — ideally less touristy places. Budget-friendly options are a big plus 🙂. If you have favorite spots around Rimini or Emilia-Romagna, I’d really appreciate it .
