Hello everyone,

I’m enrolled to start cert IV bookkeeping + accounting soon and I’m looking at what I will need in regards to a PC/ laptop. I hope you don’t mind me asking for recommendations here as I can’t find a bookkeeping sub and I suspect there may be crossover with what accountants find useful.

I currently have an old macbook but will switch to pc for Microsoft suite. Are most accounting software cloud based nowadays? My course covers MYOB and Xero.

Laptop or desktop? Or both? Multiple screens? What makes your day easier?

My husband was being treated for a few years by Dr Torshizi in Melbourne but very abruptly last year the practice closed. We need to access his records for the new psychiatrist but we cannot contact anyone at Dr Torshizi’s office.

Does anyone know what happened to him? Did he open up someplace else? Surely we are not the only ones impacted by him leaving so suddenly.
