How do Radiohead fans feel about this album?
Personally, as an American, I discovered Blur around 2018, and would only check out a few songs here and there. But last week, I finally sat down and listened to a full album from them (Modern Life Is Rubbish), and I was completely blown away by the songwriting and soundscapes. A lot of the production, especially Graham Coxon’s guitar work, honestly reminds me of Jonny Greenwood’s work on The Bends.
I also feel like it’s massively underrated in America, where most people still just know Blur as the “Song 2 band.” Curious what Radiohead fans here think of this album, since I feel like there’s definitely some fan crossover.🧡
