London's been working incredibly hard for her spot on the varsity cheer team. She's put in the hours at practice, attended camps, and dedicated herself completely to becoming a better cheerleader. But despite all that effort and talent, she hasn't gotten the opportunity to compete at the varsity level.
I started a petition to get London on varsity cheer because this shouldn't be about who you know or arbitrary barriers—it should be about skill and commitment. She's proven both. What's frustrating is that this happens to a lot of young athletes, especially young women trying to break into more competitive teams. When talent gets overlooked, it sends the wrong message.
If you've ever felt like someone deserved a real shot and didn't get it, this might resonate with you. If this matters to you too, consider signing and sharing the petition. And I'm genuinely curious—have you seen something like this happen in your own community? What would you do if it was someone you cared about?
