What's the purpose of flipper buttons on the ALU?

Wondering what games use the side flipper (pinball) buttons on the ALU? My unit came with them as a "free gift" but I don't see any pinball games in the stock games nor COX. Are they just for show?

I saw a comment in another thread that stated the ALU HD had been discontinued. This was the first I'd heard of it, so I went to the AtGames.net website. Sure enough, the "Shop Now" button now redirects to a new AtGames.us website that only sells the ALU CE (which requires either a manual downgrade or paying an additional $200 to unlock). And of course it's still out of stock.

Edit: the answer is yes. ALU HD is discontinued. Only CE version now.

Miss u/dudemo for his clarity and kindness. RIP
