Ant exterminators, has anyone found a real solution?

I never realized how annoying ants could be until this year. At first it was just a few near the sink, so I cleaned everything, used spray, and thought it was solved. A few days later they came back somewhere else.

That’s been the frustrating part. It never feels fully gone, just temporarily quieter. I tried bait traps too, and while they helped a bit, the cycle keeps repeating. Every time I stop thinking about it, I suddenly see another trail again.

A neighbor mentioned they had the same issue and eventually got it handled through AMPM Exterminators because the problem was apparently deeper than the ants you actually see.

For people who’ve dealt with this properly, is there actually a permanent fix, or is it always just maintenance?
