Whats my sister getting high on in my apartment?
I know she’s an addict, she’s admitted to opiates and meth in the past and is supposed to be getting treatment. Her behavior has been odd and I found folded soot covered pieces of tin foil in both of my bathrooms plus a clean piece in her backpack. This is outside of my knowledge of the substances I’ve tried, what could she be smoking?
Edit: she’s home, and her answer is: heroin.
I suspect it’s a half truth but it’s something. We had a serious and ultimately tearful conversation about what I expect from allowing her to live here. One thing I’ll mention; she is a petty thief, but she has never stolen my valuables. She’s a semi functioning addict, she works and tries to save but when she’s got money in her pocket it’s bad news. So I’ll be locking her savings in a safe. I’ll also be looking at getting her reconnected with her treatment facility tomorrow and stocking up on narcan.
