I've been looking to buy the X8PM, but wasn't sure on what case to get, so I can put a magnetic cooler on it. Are these any good?
Also, is it really better to use a graphene/copper case with a cooler than just no case or cooler?
I'm aware this has been discussed before, but none of those posts really helped my specific issue, so I'll ask once more.
Of course the main advantage for the F8 is the camera and the X8 battery, but I'd say for me these balance each other out.
What does matter is the performance gap and longevity for gaming.
Obviously the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 is superior to the Dimensity 9500s, but how much is it really?
And with how many people report poor thermal management on the F8 Ultra (of course it's the chips fault, doesn't matter in this case though) how long can it actually keep up.
I'm afraid that in 3-4 years it'll be pure overheating, once the usual gacha games have risen the demand again. At that point, if the chip is actually pushed to it's limits, will it even be able to perform at all? So is it even worth it on the long term?
Also, just to clarify, I'm looking at about a 170€ / 33% higher price for the F8 Ultra.
