I’m trying to decide between Zorro and Zeon zoysia and want real input from people who know turf (or have grown both).

From what I’ve found so far: • Zorro • Slower growing (less mowing/maintenance) • Darker green color • Very dense and handles traffic well • Ranked extremely high in NTEP trials and used on golf courses • Zeon • Faster growing and establishes quicker • Slightly lighter green but very “luxury” look • Known for being one of the best-looking zoysias • Strong shade tolerance and soft feel

From what I understand, Zorro is more durable and lower maintenance, while Zeon is more about appearance and quicker fill-in — but I’m not sure what actually wins long-term.

For those with real experience: • Which one holds up better over time? • Which looks better after a few years? • Any regrets going with one over the other?

I’m trying to completely kill out common Bermuda grass and looking for real-world results from people who have actually done it successfully.

I have access to a boom sprayer and also do spot spraying. I’m not just trying to suppress it—I want full eradication.

What I’m mainly looking for: • What products or tank mixes actually worked (glyphosate alone vs mixing with something else) • Whether spot spraying or broadcast gave better results • How many applications it realistically took • Timing (heat of summer vs fall, regrowth timing, etc.)

I know Bermuda can come back from rhizomes, so I’m trying to figure out the most effective program to completely wipe it out the first time instead of chasing it.

I’m dealing with a pretty heavy earthworm population in Bermuda, and the castings are starting to become a problem (muddy spots, uneven surface, mowing issues).

I know worms are generally considered beneficial, but in this case they’re creating more problems than they’re helping.

Has anyone found a way to manage or reduce worm activity without wrecking the turf? Curious what’s actually worked for people.
