I’m considering getting Acer Swift Go 14 and choosing between two models: the Acer Swift Go 14 (SFG14-74T-54J6) and the Acer Swift Go 14 (SFG14-64-R5CN). One has an Intel Core Ultra 5 225H (14-core) processor, while the other features an AMD Ryzen™ AI 7 350 (8-core). The main difference is that the Intel version includes a touchscreen, while the AMD version does not. I plan to use the laptop for my university studies in Chemistry, and I’m trying to decide which would be the better choice since both are priced almost the same.

Hi, I'll be joining the USYD Bachelor of Science this year, semester 2. I'll be majoring in Chemistry. Could any seniors recommend a laptop that is suitable for this major? I am currently considering getting an Acer Swift Go 14 (Intel Core Ultra 5 225H).
