Hello, I was told by some guild members to post here for some info on the market.
I stopped playing before Shadowlands and came back around the middle of season 2 of ttw. I use to play the AH back then, but it feels like so much has changed. I've been watching prices and was wondering - is it normal for prices to fall so quickly so suddenly?
Dawn crystals were sitting around 1.8k-2k for so long up until maybe a week ago (now at 1.3k), same with things like Arcanoweave bolts (down to 300g). I get supply and demand, and by now people are probably mostly done crafting/enchanting and stuff, but it feels weird to see prices continuously fall until it feels like it's not even profitable to craft.
I know prices tend to fall as an expansion goes on, with rises with content releases, but I dont really remember ever seeing prices fall so quickly into an expansion. Do prices tend to eventually even out eventually or do people continuously undercut until things are insanely cheap? (To my understanding, you don't even need to undercut anymore after Dragonflight)
Just trying to get back into it and understand what's going on with prices, especially this last week where it feels like everything is crashing hard. I use to love to flip and stuff but that doesnt even seem viable unless Im doing server flips (which I really dont like to do)
