There's a few elements that I think I want in the kitchen, I'm just not sure if it'll all go together or be too boring. Ideally, I want white oak slab cabinets in a light stain, a warm toned quartzite countertop and a slab backsplash so that it's easy to clean. The kitchen is attached to the dining room which will be painted sage green. Our flooring is a medium reddish brown Hickory hardwood. I've included a picture of the quartzite that I like. I'm thinking a simple white slab backsplash to not have too much matching with the quartzite countertop. Also planning on having brass hardware. Does this work? Is it too boring? Open to suggestions on what to change to make it work.
