My work so far as a beginner

My favourite pieces so far since starting Warhammer in December. Would greatly appreciate any comments or advice positive or negative!
As you will see, still some work to do on some of these! The Deathwing Knight is the first model I had ever painted, hopefully I’ve improved!

No idea what I’m doing

Hey everyone, I started buying and painting Warhammer in December and I’m loving it.
Unfortunately I know very little about lore and what not and there’s literally more text on Warhammer than every written book in the world ever!!
Anyway, since starting I have been building a Deathwing army and have made some good progress army wise. Painting skill level, in my own opinion only, has come on a very long way. It’s a steep and very enjoyable process!! If you’d like any pics of my work please just ask, but as this is a tyranid group I won’t post DA models. Learned my lesson the hard way by posting about my tyranids in a DA group. Divas.
Anyway, I have started building a Genestealer army, to fit what I believe to be a lore accurate event, from when Tyranids were part of a genestealer invasion on Plainsworld. The very war that the Deathwing was born from. (If I get anything wrong please forgive me and feel free to call me a tit and correct me)
I am possibly planning a large scale diorama with my DA Deathwing army, showing a battle against my in progress and very new Genestealer army.
If you guys have any advice/suggestions/opinions on something fun or cool to include please say!!
Here is my tyranid progress in pic (very early)
I was going to stick to a lore accurate colour scheme of blue flesh with purple carapaces, however with research I just couldn’t talk myself out of going for a paler and more morbid looking flesh tone on my tyranids.
Any advice or questions would be very welcome, and I hope this post isn’t seen as in the wrong group as, yes it’s a genestealer army but my main focus will be the tyranids.
I also have some aberrants and a magus 🤫
More tyranid paint progress pics to follow very soon.

Genestealer army incoming!!

Have started purchasing and building some new models.

After starting Warhammer for the first time in December and spending many nights painting my Deathwing army, I have decided to build a genestealer army!!
I may create a diorama showing their initial invasion of plainsworld.
What do you guys think and what models would you suggest including?
I have these guys and some Aberrants so far. Can’t wait to get stuck in painting something other than bone colour space marines 😂
