Post op bedroom upstairs ok?

Hi everyone! First let me start by saying this thread has been so incredibly helpful and reassuring for me. My procedure is in 2 weeks and I am feeling more confident and encouraged everyday thanks to many of you. The good, the bad, the ugly— thank you! I will be going home day of and would love to sleep in my Sleep Number bed for comfort but my room is upstairs. Did anyone brave a flight of stairs day of? Or should I suffer in the guest room for the first night? My mom and 3 older teens are with me for support so I don’t plan on going back down once I’m up and settled. Any advice?

My OB/gyn said she’s only making one incision under my navel but I’ve heard others say they had that plus three additional incisions. Can anyone share their experience? My surgery is scheduled for May 27th.
I’ve had laparoscopic surgery for my gallbladder back in 2012 and there were 3 incisions.
