I’ve been cleaning/ flipping for airbnb for this employer for a while and typically come in to pick up a shift here and there when she can’t find anyone else. the house is 4000 sq ft and has 5 bedrooms and 2 and a half baths. it took me 6 hours to clean it alone last night since they updated it, adding the 5th master bedroom, office, and bath. they pay me $150 for this job flat rate regardless of the time it takes…. is this fair? I don’t have a lot of experience in the space but i feel like if they pay their other cleaners more who have training and pay me less even though we’re both coming out with the same product for the upcoming client… then should i be getting paid more? any thoughts on this? whats the typical rate and time allotted to do a house of this size by myself? any thoughts or guidance would be so appreciated
