My memorable experience at Osulloc Teahouse
One place from my recent Korea trip that really stuck with me was the Osulloc Teahouse in Bukchon.
I went there because I loved the vibe at the Osulloc Museum in Jeju before, and this time I wanted to sit and enjoy the tea more leisurely. I ordered a tea sampler and tried several kinds. The aromas were seriously impressive. One in particular stood out so much that I ended up buying a whole tea set to take home as a souvenir.
When I brewed it again at home, the feeling was a bit different but even better. The pleasant scent gently filled the room and brought me right back to that relaxed moment I had sitting in Bukchon.
I especially love the Marron Glace Black Tea. Its milky chestnut aroma has such relaxing qualities that it makes me feel cozy and calm every time I drink it.
I bought it for myself, but I also think it would make a really thoughtful gift. If any of you are planning a trip to Korea, I highly recommend stopping by the Bukchon location if you have time!
