I am a junior biglaw associate and I share an office with another junior associate. He is a nice guy, but he is constantly making a clicking noise with his jaw and spends a ridiculous amount of time looking at himself in his phone. When he talks on the phone or to other people in the office he speaks normally, but when he talks to me he speaks with his jaw closed like a ventriloquist. I feel uncomfortable saying anything, but the clicking is driving me crazy. He also constantly chews something that looks like gum but isn't. Is anyone else having this issue? Thanks.
