"So. The Guild has you assigned to me today, huh?"
"...Don't let their words get to you. I'm fine,"

Context:
I am currently going through a foundational phase and writing this book to lead into my bigger book.
Feedback requested:
Currently want to focus on improving my writing's clarity; Things like language, expression, and dialogue.
Right now, I want to ensure that readers can follow and enjoy the story that's being written.
Some questions to think about after reading:
- "Were you able to read through the chapter without getting lost as to what's happening?"
- "Was the dialogue easy to follow? Could you tell who was saying what, to who, and when?"
- "Are the expressions clear to follow? Can you imagine the scenes happening as you read the book? Can you give each character a voice? Can you imagine the rooms they enter, exit, and interact in?"
Extra:
Feel free to also leave what you think about the book and it's characters. If you think it's interesting, too vague, any of those personal critiques you may have; they are also welcomed.
Even if they may feel biased, I'd still like to hear it.
Currently in the middle of writing my book and I would love to be able to make it into a comic instead of a novel for its release.
However, I’m fresh out of the packaging when it comes to this stuff, so I wanted to archive some knowledge for the future here.
So, what would you all say is a necessity for you to work on a project?
I’m sure rough sketches would help, but I’m not confident that my drawing capabilities can really capture the character.
But, I am confident that I can use and tweak my words better than I can tweak my drawings.
