Is it too difficult to find a remote role in Data Privacy ?

Hi readers, I'm a data privacy specialist currently working with one of the Big4s, I'm a senior consultant here and I have led roughly about 10 projects (Current one not included). Most of these projects were valued upwards of 1-1.5 Cr with great deliveries and nice feedback.

Everything I have done, I have put it thoroughly on my resume.

Lately, I have been looking for remote data privacy roles. I just want to spend more time with my family.

All the roles that I have explored, are either on-site for office or on-site for client location.

Is it really this tough to find remote jobs in the market ?

I haven't come across any posting by anyone which mentions data privacy and remote in the same sentence.

Coincidental how both Sova and I didn't realize that we'd seen each other.

1st me missing his head, while walking down the second lane. Next is him not reacting to me peeking him upfront.

How high are the 1% fragging ? (Screenshot of K/D attached)

If 3+ K/D is still in top 100%, how high are the top 1% fragging? How can 3.57 K/D be top 100% (How are 100% of the players better than me at Sova, with this K/D) ?

I play with my boys once every two weeks or so. we pull an all-nighter every time, and we lose most of our matches. Me or someone else is always, without fail, either Match MVP or Team MVP.

We haven't moved from our ranks in about 8-9 months.

At the end of the day this is a virtual thing and we all are here to enjoy it.

Just wanted to post this here because I come across a lot of negativity regarding teammates on this subreddit.

P.S.

Before anyone says it, I'm a Chamber main and I play Chamber in every match.

Hi dear reader,

I hope you are doing well.

I'm a Data Privacy specialist, currently engaged with one of the Big4s. I lead their data privacy practice as a subject matter expert and look after project deliveries involving assessments and implementation.

Through my career of almost half a decade, I have realised that Big4 or even boutique firms involved in this space are into chanting corporate jargons and over charging for services which can be done with much less money.

I'm soon starting my own venture in the same domain (Only about a month left for my notice period to be over).

I'm here looking for founders in space wherein they deal with customer data and require compliance. Eg: DPDPA, GDPR (EU), CCPA/CPRA (California), PIPEDA (Canada) etc.

I have worked with global privacy regulations and I know all the processes which Big4s and Boutique firms will pitch to your organization.

Looking forward to collaborating with brilliant minds here.

In case of any query, please leave a comment or feel free to DM me. :)
