I am not sponsored or incentivized by MizuWorks to write this review. I bought 2 sets of White Shimon Grips to test out since I wanted to experience the benefits of using mouse grips. This is my first time ever trying mouse grips in my 8 years of gaming and I'll never go back to having a mouse without grips.
I bought the grips directly from MizuWorks website. I paid 21.98$ USD including shipping
(Customer Service 10/10)
The shipping is ran by one person named GodSpeed (Owner of MizuWorks). He handles the shipping every Monday and Tuesday.
My shipment was taking longer than expected to ship due to USPS being slow. Shortly after reaching out to customer support through their Discord server for clarification on when my package would ship, I received a DM from GodSpeed saying, "I went and spoke with USPS this morning to see if they were behind with drop offs and they let me know they will get to it today". I checked my tracking later on and the package was on its way.
When playing FPS games or aim training I would normally lift my left finger up often while rapidly clicking. (I use a Relaxed Claw grip) After getting Shimon Grips I no longer struggle with that tendency at all.
I'm able to click rapidly for longer + keep a solid grip on my mouse without feeling my fingers slip while doing so. My fingers stay fully grounded to the mouse, giving me the confidence to flick faster without the fear of my hand slipping.
I feel a strong stimulating grip, but the grip tape itself is so thin that I can't feel any change besides the grip. It's like the grips are there, but they're not there!
I didn't position a rectangle grip piece correctly for my pinky finger on the right side of my mouse (my pinky finger didn't rest perfectly center on the piece). After 3 days I was able to peel off and re-apply the same piece without loss of adhesion.
(Photo after reapplication is shown above)
If my hand gets sweaty, I lose some of the grip I described above. The grips do not absorb any sweat, but they do become less beneficial unless I keep my hands dry.
What I do to counteract this: I wipe my hand with a microfiber cloth
Conclusion:
I bought these mouse grips expecting a minimal difference in performance, but they've produced major improvement in my aim and grip stability while moving my mouse. I've also hit new high scores in multiple Kovaaks scenarios (Speed Switching, Microshot, Gridshot, Smooth Tracking) further proving the grips are effective.
