This is the first proper (somewhat semi-improvised) performance I’ve done on both the DN2 and DT2. Some dark and deranged ambience in the first half, with a melancholy beautiful sounding resurgence in the second half. Chord mode got used and I don’t think I’ll stop.

All the noise / textures / drones are coming from the DT2.
All the leads and orchestral pads from the DN2…I wasn’t aware that this was capable of those pads but it makes me a lot happier that I can.

Really happy with how this turned out, but with room for improvement always.

That’s right. Another unnecessarily filtered video of the Digitone 2. I got this about two months ago and I’m finally getting to grips with the wide range of sounds capable. Far from just FM it can also excel at dark textures, drones, synthwave and some gawjus pads.

It’s weird because the original plan was to use the Digitakt 2 as a primary instrument with Digitone 2 supporting it, but I use the latter more these days. Next step is to combine them for sounds of hell.
