Hey all,

Need some honest input from folks who’ve been through Google hiring.

I recently finished 4 rounds for L4 SWE Bangalore office:

• 2 online rounds(DSA + googlyness) -> feedback positive went ahead with onsite rounds
• Onsite rounds
  • 1st round -> positive feedback
  • 2nd round -> not so positive

Recruiter told me feedback is mixed.

After a week of silence, I followed up and got:
"We’re still actively looking for the right opportunity for you… really impressed with your skills…”

No clear mention of Hiring Committee result.
I’m confused about where I stand:

• Does this usually mean HC is cleared and I’m in team matching?
• Or could HC still be undecided?
• For people who were in a similar spot — did it convert to offer or fade out?

Would appreciate any honest experiences from people who’ve been in a similar situation
