Cervical ADR surgery. HELP

I'm 30(F) and have a herniated disc at my c6/c7. Honestly, it happened back in the Summer of 2023 & I just took painkillers and PT and was feeling a little better by the end of the year. I guess it was just enough for me to kind of live with it (tightness in my neck, lots of clicking in my shoulder, limited mobility) but compared to the initial pain, I could handle this. I have had a few flare ups in between but they've all subsided. More recently though, I have just been annoyed with how it's affecting small things in my life (picking up my nephew, trying to lay on my stomach to read a book) and I'm wondering if surgery is worth it since I'm not in excruciating pain.
I want to live my life, and I can for the most part, but after 2 years I worry that it's never going to fully heal. Is surgery worth it?
