I kept delaying my first solo trip because I thought I needed a perfect plan.
Turns out, you don’t.
I ended up going to Manali and realized:
- Most “fears” are just lack of structure
- You only need a few key decisions (transport, stay, basic plan)
- Everything else figures itself out on the ground
I broke it down into:
- a simple 3-day itinerary
- exact budget (~₹8k–₹12k)
- safety rules that actually matter
If anyone here is overthinking their first solo trip, I can share the breakdown.
