Is corporate messing with counts?

An example from this morning would be, I got in six Blue Pinoy Angelfish in earlier this month and I sold two that same day. I walked to the register with the customer, I saw him pay for them. Today when I’m doing counts it says I should have six still when it is supposed to be four.

Another example is that we were short on a plant shipment and they didn’t send us the 25 pack of the $5.99 Assorted Potted Plants. We marked it short and entered it in. That CAPI it said we were supposed to still have them. I went and charged up managers accusing them of fudging my numbers or not entering the PO’s correctly but they did and were able to go into the history and prove it.

Another time I ordered six of the Carpenters Wrassed and five of them came in DOA. I entered that PO myself and when that CAPI came around it still said I was supposed to have six when I only has one. That was my first time bring that SKU into our department so I know it can’t be from a previous count either.

I’ve been keeping very close track. I even have a picture of the PO slips sent to me if a shipment arrives when I am off. I double check every one, even myself when fish come in or are sold or die. I’m not enjoying getting in trouble for shrink numbers when there is definitely a lot of inaccuracy going on that I have no control over.

Has anyone else noticed things like this? Who do I talk to about this? I’ve brought it up to my CAS and my GM but it doesn’t fix my numbers. I do not want to lose magnet status over things that are out of my control when I have been so meticulous.

On a positive note, I wrote “Axolotls coming soon!” on my plant tank and I already have a wait list for them! I hope they send pretty ones so they sell quickly. Will they be an allotment periodically or will I be able to order more?

Has anyone already gotten their’s in? Did you take any pictures? 👀

This is a small white piece that fits inside of the outtake of my Marineland towers. It controls flow pressure. I’d like to know the sku but also what they are actually called!
