The journey is a 50mile round trip and I went through, my daughter & son in law were both busy when I got there, they didn’t stop what they were doing for even 10 minutes. My grandchildren were in their bedrooms and didn’t come down. I went up to see the but didn’t get a good reception ( knocked on their doors before entering) neither wanted to come and spend time with me at all. I was very hands on when they were little and spend lots of time and money on them, they were a big part of my life. I feel upset and angry that they don’t seem to have any respect for me. I was brought up totally differently and would never have been allowed to ignore any family visitors but this just seems so normal. What am I doing wrong and why don’t they want to spend time and chat with me. I was only there an hour or so as I felt like a burden 😭
