My son was recently accepted into the mandarin immersion program at Gomes (newly established for the ‘26-27 school year).

Does anyone here have experience with their kids in the FUSD immersion program? Pros and cons? How are you supplementing your kids’ English skills, especially with reading in the beginning years?

Just looking to hear from other parents and what they think of the program.
