One thing you taught me is never again to allow future activities to be linked to intangibles.
Because when you said to me, "We'll hang out when you're ready"
I had a lot of questions that I was too afraid to ask.
What does ready mean?
How will I know I'm ready?
How is my readiness measured?
How often reviewed?
The expected time frame for readiness being achieved?
The indicators whether I'm on track to becoming ready or not?
Will you provide me with updates?
I think I'm ready right now. Can we just do this, please?
That one statement alone was enough to throw my mind into a tailspin it had trouble recovering from.
I think you should know that.
It was a shitty thing to say.
