Hi everyone, I bought my first Kayak which arrived today. On their website they state that it is normal for the kayak to potentially come with some deformation that can be fixed by being sat in the sun for some time.

The kayak looks like it has been stored with a lot of weight on the cockpit/top opening and as you can see in the photo, everything is pushed down.

Is this to be expected and something that really will just pop back out in the sun?

I was unable to see this at the time of delivery as the kayak came wrapped.

It is by Kayaks2Fish and the model is the Oceanus 12.5.
