Hi! I'm travelling solo and looking for a quiet rural place (or places) to stay for a few days somewhere along the Alfa Pendular corridor between Porto and the Algarve.

I'd love to rent a small apartment in a rural or semi-rural setting – ideally in or near a wine-producing region – but still within easy reach of a grocery shop. Access to nature is important to me (walks, countryside, that kind of thing).

The key requirement is being close to an Alfa Pendular stop so I can arrive and leave easily by train without needing a car. Perhaps a taxi for few kilometers.

Any hidden gems along that line? Towns, villages, or specific areas you'd recommend? Thanks in advance!
