My grandfather had these (he passed 60 years ago). No signature, nothing on the backs apart from a faint pencil outline, just a few lines, on one.
Originals. Pen & ink. On something thicker than paper.
The dimensions and subject make me think they are illustrations to go with a story.
The style points to early 1900’s.
I’ve done some flipping through old Harper’s and Colliers magazines, 1900-1910. No hits.
