I really need advice because this situation has gotten out of hand.
I bought a car in July 2025, and after the purchase, I went back and reviewed the contract more closely with the finance paperwork. That’s when I realized there were multiple warranties added that I did NOT knowingly agree to, totaling about $7,200.
Here’s the breakdown:
• I did agree to/sign for 2 warranties
• But there are 2 others I never knowingly agreed to:
• A $4,000 windshield warranty
• A tire & wheel warranty
• I only discovered these by carefully going through the contract afterward
From the beginning (as soon as I found out), I told them:
If this wasn’t fixed, I would get an attorney involved.
So this isn’t new—I’ve been consistent about that from day one.
What’s been happening since then:
• The dealership removed 2 warranties already, so they clearly can cancel them
• The finance manager has been telling me the windshield warranty was refunded, which I just found out was not true
• They’ve changed their story multiple times:
• First said everything was paper, no electronic signatures
• Then later claimed I did sign electronically
• For weeks, I’ve been getting the runaround:
• “Managers aren’t here”
• “GM is out of town”
• No real follow-through
Now the biggest issue:
I finally got ahold of them again, and now they’re saying:
Because I mentioned getting an attorney, they can’t help me anymore.
But I’ve literally been saying that since the beginning when I realized these warranties were added without my knowledge.

At this point:Has anyone successfully dealt with something like this months after purchase?
I know it’s been about 9–10 months since the purchase, so I understand that complicates things, but this isn’t me changing my mind—I genuinely did not knowingly agree to these and have been trying to fix it since I found out.
Any advice would really help.
