We bought our house two years ago now and I finally have to time and motivation to get a flower garden bed started. What are some flowering medium height plants that do not need a lot of sun? I am looking at planting western azaleas and sword ferns against the house. Hosta, bleeding hearts, and trilliums in the middle tier, and then begonias, snowdrops, and Muscari in the front. I've also considered Carpet Bugle for the retaining wall but I am second guessing that rn with it being considered invasive.
Second Question:
I have a lot of grubs in the soil. What recommendations would you guys have to take care of them?
