Hello! I’am a YT Shorts content creator for 26 days now, I’m almost 1M views on shorts (960K), I’ve noticed a really weird pattern on youtube’s short algorithm.

Whenever I upload a short, it normally goes from 1k then it slowly builds momentum and spikes up to 20K+ or in waves.

But on my two recent uploads, it changed. After posting a video, it rises to 3K+ instantly and builds momentum. And my Retention is super bad on these first hours, (40 percent stayed to watch) etc…

Idk if it’s just me? Can someone please explain? I’m in the ROBLOX commentary niche, I find it quite weird.

Here’s the thing, I’m 20 years old now. My dad is a jazz keyboardist. when I was a kid, I would always play with the keys with him. But he never really taught me what chord am playing, for instance “this one is C, this one is G” no, he didn’t.

But here’s the thing, our piano has tons of songs that can be autoplayed, and when I was a kid, I already memorized all the songs and I played some by ear. AND I always knew what tone the songs would start. Even now, my memory is very clear.

Throwback to 2021, I went crazy playing the piano (learned jazz and played on church), I learned chords. Meanwhile as I was scrolling, I saw something about perfect pitch.

I immediately tried testing if I had it. Of course I failed since I haven’t labeled them in my brain. But after just a day of practicing. I already know them all.

Even now, when a car beeps, I instantly know the note. When I tap the glass with a spoon, I know it.

I can also sing a note on the fly instantly.

My bandmates would hum a random sound and I can instantly identify what note they sang, they literally went crazy. Even when they scream, I know their note 😭

Idk if this is perfect pitch… if anybody could tell me.
