Failed an EICR based on the downlights, obviously, customer was actually honest and admitted to doing them themselves, but why are such difficult to terminate properly fittings sold to the avid DIY’er in the first place? Should shit like this actually be sellable in the uk? It’s literally designed to be impossible not to have a single insulated on show, granted it’s the earth but still.
