Im 28, engaged and been with my fiancé for almost six years. I recently got diagnosed with PCOS, and a month later had a pap and tested positive for HPV 18. Going for a colposcopy soon, very freaked out. Because it’s been so long since I’ve had a pap done and I don’t know how long I’ve had it? I have been with three people since my last pap 7ish years ago, one being my now fiancé. I am scared cos if I have had it for years and it’s developed to a point of pre cancer / cancer. I feel stupid for not having gotten my check ups even though I didn’t really have money in my early 20s and just kept putting it off. Feel like I’ve ruined my body. I’m just really scared and need advice from people who have experience.
