Any other PIMOs notice this lately?
There seems to be a big movement amongst the JWs to be anti-science in a way, more so than before. Also, there’s a trend of wanting things to be more pure—even down to the food they eat. It’s so bizarre. I’ve noticed there’s a group of young couples that seems to be moving toward more homemade/organic food or even home remedies. To me it seems to stem from the whole “purity” culture that is proliferated by Christianity in general. At the same time, there’s so much hypocrisy and blurred lines on their morality. Like they want their food to be “four ingredients or less” yet as JWs, “that abide by the moral principles of the bible”, they’ll listen to artists like Sabrina Carpenter, who I am not a fan of because she seems to oversexualize herself while trying to portray a young girl/child. That is a whole other can of worms. Anyway, any thoughts on this movement to use home remedies over medicine and only eating foods with four ingredients or less? I totally understand people that want to eat “cleaner” and that try to look after themselves, but this craze over having everything be homemade from scratch seems to stem from super indoctrinated Christians. I guess it goes along with the whole “trad wife movement” as well. It seems like everybody is trying to be Nara Smith these days.
