We are currently contemplating between staying in Germany vs moving back to India, and honestly the biggest question for us is becoming language for our child's academic and social life.

For immigrant parents in Germany:

Did language ever become the deciding factor for whether to stay?

With two working parents and a child entering school soon, I wonder:
Even if kids learn German fast, were you realistically able to support them fully academically and socially without being deeply fluent yourselves?

Did it get easier over time?
Or did it quietly become a deal breaker?
