I’ve gotten canker sores all my life, but right now I’m dealing with one that I can hardly reach with orajel/salt/anything. I made an emergency dentist appointment and they were able to take pictures of it. The sore is basically below my back bottom molar under my tongue on the floor of my mouth - but it’s even further back than my very back tooth. Swallowing and speaking are difficult. Dentist is prescribing me a lidocaine rinse and told me to load up on ibuprofen/tylenol and rinse with salt water. I really wanted them to just shoot me with Novocaine but she said it would only last 30 mins. Honestly, 30 mins of relief would be amazing right now. I want to rip my tongue out the pain is so bad.
