So, first things first, I am not exactly writter per say, I am not into books, I more dream of doing movies and tv shows, but this is only sub I think I can get an actuall advice.

Well, to the question. I wad wondering, if my story has to be... methaphor for something or something deep and you know, making book more analyzable if you understand me.

Like, I have been having this idea in head, basically in short, dystopian future post robot apocalypse, one robot however somehow decides to help humans who first hate him cuz, clankers killed like most of humans, and also itnhas few layers of lore done, antagonist is finished... but that is where it ends, no deeper intended allegory... just Robot with amnesia helping humans fight other robots under co trol of one central have"mind" that has kinda interesting origin full of envy and ego and blah blah. But beyond this and lore of thier world... I have no messege to share... just... this...

So yeah, I am scared that even tho I made fucking mythology up beacouse of this thing, it still won't be enough, and I will end up with mid story, wich will be just boom bang robots, explosions cool weapons and, clues to lore hidden in casual dialogs and stuff... but when I look at it objectively... nothing new... just a lot of diffrent stuff I liked in other media, ashed into kinda working structure, but no morale messege, no anything!

Any advice? Am I just being over critical of myself? Am I getting overthinking it? Should I give scrap it and start over? Should I give up completly?!

Ps: Sorry for typos, English ain't my native and also I write this sleep deprivated ar 10pm
