Before and after doors

Since a lot of people said it was a bad idea to change my 1970s doors into something better than what they were….i thought I’d share an update. We aren’t finished with all the doors but most of them are back up. Thanks to everyone who was nice and encouraging in the comments. Next I’ll have to sand the trim and freshen it up with some paint. Thanks again!

I’d like to add that there is no AI in these photos(in case anyone is going to ask) 🫶🏻

(EDIT: THE LAST PHOTO IS AI AND WAS JUST TO SEE WHAT THE COLOR COULD LOOK LIKE. IM AWARE THE FINISHED LOOK WILL NOT LOOK LIKE THE LAST PHOTO. MIGHT DELETE THIS POST LATER, THANK YOU)

My husband and I are planning on moving soon and want to get our home ready for the market. We previously bought our home from a “flipper” and constantly see “short cuts”. Our current interior doors look like who ever painted them did so with their hands tied behind their back and blindfolded. Here’s the work we currently have done on one door and the before and the AI inspo door. Please don’t tell me it looks worse than before cause I feel like even if we mess up it’ll be 10% better than the before.
