How to enjoy Rain World
So I heard about it from a friend of mine who really loves it and spent hours playing it. and since it has overwhelmingly positive reviews on Steam I decided to buy it.
Unfortunately, After 13h of gameplay. I gave up. The graphics and the game style were absolutely amazing and that's what kept me playing for the first few hours. After that surviving and hibernating became a chore. wake up, look for food, find shelter before the rain, repeat...
It's not like it was not only hard (and i have no problem with hard games i do like them myself and I can handle hard difficulties) but also it felt like there is no goal, no progress. with other hard games at least you have a goal to work for. With rain world however it's hard and the goal is so vague so playing it was almost torture.
It's unfortunate for me to say that I didn't like a game appreciated by many and I kinda feel like I'm missing out on something. Maybe Rain World isn't for everyone but If you have any tips or pieces of advice on how to enjoy it please lemme know :3.
